Welcoming New Visiting Student

We are excited to welcome Anna Viola Sáfrány, who is joining the Language Comprehension Lab as a visiting MA student. She is currently studying in the Middle European interdisciplinary master's program in Cognitive Science (https://www.meicogsci.eu/) and will contribute to our LISA project.

New PhD student in the lab!

We are pleased to announce that this Fall a new student will start his Ph.D. studies in the Language Comprehension Lab. 

Benedek Bartha finished his MA studies in Cognitive Science at the University of Edinburgh. He is interested in the relationships between language, cognition and communication, particularly in how speakers make informative and useful choices for the given context and partner(s) and how those choices interact with cross-linguistic patterns.

The Language Comprehension Lab will be at the 31st conference of the European Society for Philosophy and Psychology (ESPP 2024), which will take place in Grenoble, France from July 2 to 5. PI Eva Wittenberg, will present her following work at the conference.
