Current job posting: Research Assistantship
The RA position is linked to the Special Research Area (SFB) FWF interdisciplinary project on “Why do coherent belief systems tolerate incoherence? Belief update failures in society” and the Center for Belief Updating and Debiasing -DE-BIAS-at CEU. Application deadline: June 24th, 2026.
Prerequisites are:
• speaker of Turkish, English, and German
• ideally has taken coursework in linguistics/cognitive science
• well-organized, dependable, independent, a sense of humor is a plus
Tasks:
• recruitment of research participants, both within CEU and in the area
• conducting data acquisition with those participants in Turkish, English, and German
• regular participation in lab meetings, and a final presentation
Benefits:
• payment according to FWF salary scale - monthly gross salary: 828 EUR gross/month for 12h/week.
