Hannah Grobauer

Hannah worked as a research assistant at the Language Comprehension Lab from March 2024 to 2025, contributing to several projects. She completed bachelor’s degrees in Linguistics and Romance Studies at the University of Vienna and is pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Humanities. Her interests include linguistic typology, grammar and its neurological correlates, and digital methods in the humanities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Ebru Evcen

Ebru collaborated with the Language Comprehension Lab while completing her PhD in Linguistics at the University of California San Diego, which she received in 2026. Her research examines the interfaces among syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, particularly how people incrementally construct event representations and interpret counterfactuals. She is now a postdoctoral fellow in the Bergelson Lab in Harvard University’s Department of Psychology.
